COLLECTIONS

Open Shelf Collection
The Open Shelf Collection consists of monographic text and additional readings in all subjects taught in Nilai University.

Reference Collection
The Reference Collection consists of almanac, atlases, dictionaries, directories, encyclopedias, handbooks and yearbooks. These items are indicated by an 'R' on the spine call number and cannot be taken out of the library.

Red Spot Collection
The Red Spot Collection consists of basic texts and reference books, which are being used extensively. These items are indicated by an 'RS' on the spine call number and placed within close access, behind the circulation counter.

Periodical Collection
The Periodical Collection consists of magazines, newspapers, journals and bulletin.

Audio Visual Collection
The Audio visual collection consists of CDs, CD-ROMs, DVDs, sound discs, sound cassettes, VCDs and videocassettes.

Examination Paper Collection
The Examination Paper collection comprises previous year examination papers from various programmes submitted to the Library. The items can only be used within the Library and are placed within close access, behind the circulation counter.

Teaching Resources Collection
The Teaching Resources collection is reserved for the use of academic staff only. These items are indicated by 'TS' on the spine call number and placed within close access, behind the circulation counter.

Dissertation Collection
The Dissertation Collection consists of project papers from the School of Engineering Science and Technology. They can only be used within the library.
